<p>Jimchuffff: </p> <hr /> <div>Hi all,<br /> <br /> I've been running FOG for a year or so (I previously used Partimage with home-made PXEboot setup) and I'd like to get down my notes on it all as part of our documentation plan.<br /> <br /> What I run it on:<br /> - an old workstation (100mb NIC, ATA drive, P4 celeron)<br /> - Poweredge servers 1600SC, 2850<br /> <br /> Debian 5/6 - installs and runs fine<br /> <br /> Problems I've had:<br /> - changing DB settings (2 places to change stuff)<br /> - changing IP addresses of host and DHCP/DNS (change stuff in tftp, database and config files)<br /> - you can only multicast out 1 network card<br /> <br /> Clients:<br /> - Dell D531 with XP (says it doesn't work in docs, but I've only just read that - worked for me)<br /> - Dell XT/XT2 with Win7<br /> - HP dc7100<br /> more to come<br /> <br /> I'll add a unattended xml file for win7 that I had working presently.<br /> <br /> Feel free to contact me<br /> <br /> Jim<br /> Brislington Enterprise College<br /> Bristol<br /> UK</div>
