<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>Ok, after some days strugglin with multiple partition/ multiple os disks...<br /> I sit down with three hour set only for that and came to it:<br /> <br /> <br /> - fog script (fog.capone too?) fixed to write the right partitions using sfdisk<br /> (added /sbin/sfdisk, not static but from CentOS...should it be static?). <br /> <br /> Added a d1.tbl file with sfdisk -d $disk &gt; ${path}/d1.tbl results and take it like sfdisk $disk &lt; ${path}/d1.tbl and it work all right<br /> <br /> - /etc/mtab not clean caused by /etc/fstab also not clean: no partitions to mount -a<br /> (cleanup needed because image disk had a LABEL=/ partition that was mounted and never cloned)<br /> <br /> - Trying to find a way to workaround &quot;fogpartinfo --list-devices&quot; to guess which disk, when the disk is completely blank (like new ones?) : no signature found error ...and fog bailing out.<br /> <br /> <br /> Still thinking I should revise the modified scripts and post them so everybody could use them with right way, practitioners way, partimage documented way, for a multiple partition disk with a lot of logical partitions.<br /> <br /> Also, focusing now on finding a way to clone individual partitions...should it take another image type? I guess so, but with hardcoded names like d1p1.img d1<br /> <br /> Looks like self-diary.<br /> <br /> Ok.
