Disable DHCP Service on FOG
If dhcpd is currently running on the FOG server, we should first disable it.
Ubuntu
sudo /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server stop sudo sysv-rc-conf dhcp3-server off
Fedora
service dhcpd stop chkconfig --level 345 dhcpd off
Windows DHCP server
- Navigate to the Administrative Tools>DHCP
- Highlight the Scope Options for the subnet or server Options
- Scroll down the list of options to 066 Boot Server Host Name.
- Check the box next to option 066.
- Enter your tftp server's ip address
- check option 067 Bootfile Name and enter the name pxelinux.0
