Dear community,

We want to deploy Windows 7 images via multicast on 600 workstations. Unfortunately we encounter some problems with deploying via multicast. Unicast works fine.

We've created a test environment in which multicast is posible (network switches).

Our current FOG version: 0.32

Our current Multicast configuration:

Other Information > FOG Settings > Multicast Settings: Fog_udpcast_interface: eth0 Fog_udpcast_startingport: 63100 Fog_multicast_max_sessions: 50 (in the real production migration we'll want change this to 100 if possible)

I've created a group "Test Multicast" Added 5 workstations in it. Associated the same OS Associated the same Image

How can I use multicast? When I try to deploy from the Group Management, in "Deploy", multicast is provided to me. And when I take a look in Task Management > Active Multicast Tasks, I don't see the 5 workstations. I do see them under Active Tasks, which means that they will deployed via unicast.

PLEASE HELP ME TO CONFIGURE MULTICAST!!!!

We do need to limit the network data traffic due to an staged migration window within office hours.

With kind regards,
